Free activity on 31 October
Get spooky and visit to the cloakroom on Halloween (31 October) between 13:30 and 16:00 for a free walk-in activity. Make your own bat string figure as creepy as possible and learn how to move the bat's wings with fun pulling mechanisms.

Eye on Sound: Disney's Alice
Especially for the Autumn holidays: five very early Disney films Accompanied by live music and sound effects. For all ages. Featuring Alice's Spooky Adventure, Alice in the Wooly West, Alice the Fire Fighter, Alice's Day at Sea and Alice the Piper.

Workshop: Maak je eigen caleidoscoop
Discover shapes and colours and make a cool light show with your own kaleidoscope.

Workshop: Film maken van verborgen werelden
After brief visit to the Underground exhibition, the children use their pocket microscopes to find footage for their own film collage.

Filmmagie: Amsterdam versieren
Amsterdam is celebrating and we will be putting out the celluloid bunting. Discover the magic of cinema with short films and animations from Eye’s collection (almost all) set in Amsterdam.

Cinemini: watch & play
On Sundays and during the holidays there is Cinemini for toddlers and preschoolers in the enchanting Cinemini room, where they are treated to films and play in a light landscape.

Discovery route for families
For children from 4 to 12 years old and their parents or supervisors, Mission Super Eyes is a discovery route criss-crossing the museum building.

Children's screenings
During the autumn holidays, you can see the most beautiful children's films every day in the four rooms of Eye. With the Stadspas green dot, you pay €2.00 for a movie ticket.
