Week of Accessibility

Welcome to Eye! The Week of Accessibility will take place from 3 to 8 October. In Eye you can join an extra tour in Dutch Sign Language of the exhibition. During the autumn break, there are special family events on 21 and 22 October with a sign language interpreter present.

Accessibility means that everyone, including people with disabilities, can participate fully in society. Eye also wants to be accessible to as many people as possible – all year round.

Guided tour

Join an extra tour in Dutch Sign Language of the Fiona Tan exhibition on Friday 7 October at 14:00. Jocelyne Moreau gives a speaking tour, and Lisanne Houkes translates live into sign language. The tour is free with a valid entrance ticket to the exhibition.

Cinemini (2+)

With Cinemini children experience their first cinema visit in the most beautiful and intimate cinema of Eye. During the autumn break, an Dutch Sign Language interpreter will be present on Friday 21 and Saturday 22 October during the screening of The Snail and the Whale. Afterwards, everyone can play with light in the cinema.

AnimatioSensatio workshop (7+)

With stop-motion, you can bring everything to life. A dancing clay animation of your pet or your shoe falling in love with scissors. Everything is possible in this workshop! During the autumn break, an NGT interpreter will be present at theworkshop on Friday 21 and Saturday 22 October.
